A real place on screen
Al-Khazneh — the Treasury
A monumental rock-cut façade conceals a much smaller chamber. Its columns, broken pediment and sculpted urn make the cliff itself part of the architecture; the elaborate Grail temple beyond the entrance belongs to the movie, not the surviving monument.

On screen: The Grail temple entrance
The Treasury supplies the spectacular exterior. The immense temple interior and its trials are film constructions, not rooms behind this façade.
