Research notes

The museum’s public opening and the dates of individual construction packages describe different stages of one project.

Builder CSCEC identifies Zaha Hadid Architects and Guangming District Science Park. A later Guangming government report confirms that the museum opened to visitors on 1 May 2025.

This chronology matters when reading product case studies or construction photographs. An earlier supplier installation date does not mean the museum was already open. The verified opening is a public-use milestone, rather than a date for every part of the building.

What the sources do not establish
  • The opening date is not presented as the completion date of every construction or fit-out package.
