Read WYNK Collaborative’s AB Apartment through its Mutina Punto dry-kitchen surface and contrasting oak-veneered living room.

Research notes
AB Apartment uses a change in material to mark a change in domestic atmosphere.
WYNK describes a dry-kitchen counter faced in Mutina Punto tiles and a living room wrapped in oak veneer. A bedroom door is concealed within that panelling, so storage and circulation are absorbed into the room’s surfaces.
The tiled counter and timber enclosure work at different scales: one is a tactile point for hosting, the other defines an entire room. The named tile should be connected to its documented application rather than assigned to every tiled surface in the apartment.
